This 12-week self-paced course supports educators in designing high-quality selected- and constructed-response assessments that align with meaningful learning outcomes. Participants will deconstruct standards, design multiple choice items with diagnostic distractors, build constructed response items, and create rubrics that yield actionable data.
This course guides educators through the full assessment design cycle and integrates AI tools throughout to support assessment design, reflection, and instructional planning.
While the two courses are designed to complement each other, they may be taken independently, concurrently, or in any order. There are no prerequisites, and participants are welcome to enroll in one or both courses based on their professional goals and interests.
